Bellbrook is a Sarpy County housing development that was initially incorporated in 2005.  Located  between Harrison Street  and Chandler Road, it fills 192nd to 204th Streets with newer homes on curvilinear streets.  With retail development moving westward on Harrison and a Millard Elementary School located on Chandler, the neighborhood has become a “hot spot” for families looking for newer construction and good schools, as well as  “empty nesters” looking for care free living.

Most homes are ranches or two stories filled with innovative designs and features; they usually sell within the $300,000 to $450,000 range. There are also prime lots available for those wanting to build custom homes.  Architectural drawings of all dwellings must be submitted to a construction committee before work begins and must follow covenants established for the various phases of development.   Special attention is given to exterior features, fences and landscaping.

Bellbrook has an active homeowner’s association which is responsible for maintenance of the community’s  common  areas and facilities.  Two swimming pools (one for adults, one for children), numerous hiking/biking trails, parks and playground, and a fabulous clubhouse with a party room and a well equipped fitness facility form an amenity package rarely found in suburban neighborhoods.  The association also plans social activities for the community, publishes a newsletter, and works hard to preserve safety, and a sense of well-being for homeowners and their families.

As a geographical space where Gretna (postal address) and Millard (school system) meet, it reflects many of the “positives” found in both communities.
